All Alabama Tag and Title and DMV locations are closed on all federal and state holidays. Federal holidays include New Years Day, MLK Jr. Day, Inauguration Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

There are no appointments needed for Alabama Tag and Title services: however, if taking a driving test or a CDL driving test, please call ahead for appointment and waiting times.
Office Description
Alabama Drivers License offices process Alabama drivers licenses, identification cards, and they administer written and road tests. Cash is the only form of payment accepted, some locations may accept credit and debit cards. Closed for lunch, noon to 1 p.m. Office is open every Wednesday and the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
