When you change your address in PA, you are given 15 days to notify the PennDOT agency near you, so your records can be updated and your information can remain accurate. When it is time to change your PA address, you are given too choices to do so: through the internet, or by postal mail. Once the change is completed, you will receive your Driver’s License Update Card to display your new address and prove the change.

PA Change of Address Online

Your change of address online is extremely simple and can be done within only a few seconds of your time.

  1. Visit Change of Address online.
  2. Follow on-screen instructions
  3. Make sure you have your license or ID and a printer.
  4. There is no charge for the change of address, so you won’t have to worry about getting a fee together.
  5. Provide driver’s license or ID number
  6. Provide date of birth
  7. Provide SSN
  8. Login to the system and complete the change of address
  9. You will receive confirmation and will be sent an Update Card by mail

The mail-in process can be a bit different, but is also free of charge and will only take just a few moments to complete.

  1. Visit Non-Commercial Application for Change/Correction/Replacement form.
  2. Complete the appropriate sections of form
  3. Sign and send to the following address:

Change Title or Registration Address in PA

Changing the registration and title address when you move is required within the same time limit of 15 days. This can be done by visiting Changing your Address online or by visiting Change of Address to download and complete the form MV-63 and sending to the address above.
