PA Forms

A great thing about the PennDOT is that there are great conveniences offered to drivers of the state in order to ensure that their trips through town to the DOT office are as scarce as possible. After all, it is no secret that the DMV office visit is often the most dreaded visit in the world.

Getting driver forms from PennDOT is extremely simple, and can even be done mostly online.

  1. Visit Driver License Forms and Publications online.
  2. Choose the form that you need or that is required for your services.
  3. Download the form and view with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  4. Print the form and complete, submitting as necessary by mail or in-person.
The thing is, you must first have Adobe Acrobat Reader before you can view these forms, as they are in .PDF format. Without Adobe Reader you won’t be able to view these forms or print them at all. Getting Adobe Reader if it isn’t already present within your PC is so easy.

  1. Visit Adobe Reader
  2. Choose your system.
  3. Download the application.
  4. Run and install according to the on-screen prompts.
  5. Get your forms!
This will even allow you to save forms that you may need later on and don’t want to go through the site to download again.

If you just rather visit the office for your forms, you can visit any Driver and Vehicle Service Center in your area.

  1. Visit the office nearest to you.
  2. Request the form that is required.
  3. Receive your form and complete in office with your services, or return when ready to receive services.
All DMV forms offered by the PennDOT are offered in office, but that doesn’t mean that all are offered online. In some cases, there are driving or vehicle service forms that must be obtained in person as they are printed on specialized paper, or contain identifiable markers.

If you decide to get your driver service forms in PA online, you will be able to do so when you want, however you want. However, if you wish to get the forms in person, you may want to contact the PennDOT office first to ensure it is open when you plan to arrive and that the forms are offered.
