Florida Voter Registration

Each United States Citizen that is 18 years or older has the right to vote. In order to be able to vote Florida State residents must register.  This is easily done by filling out the voter’s registration form that can be found at Voter Registration Applications and submitting it to your local Driver License Office.

Should you want to change your party affiliation you will also be able to do so by completing the form.  Once the form is turned in it will be forwarded to the county Supervisor of Elections and you will receive your voter registration card in the mail.

Florida State Residents Are Eligible To Vote Provided:

  • Are a citizen of the United States and a Legal Florida Resident 18 years of age or older
  • Are not impaired in any manner such as a legal judgment of a mental incapacitation or crime
  • Provide your current Florida State Identification Card or Driver’s License number or the last four digits of your Social Security number
If you have just applied to vote you must be registered at least 29 days prior to an election to be able to vote in the current election.  For all applicants that register at their local Driver License Office they will be registered the same day they submit their application.
