Although a motor vehicle bill of sale is not required by the state of Kansas, vehicle buyers and sellers can include the document in their transaction.
While the Affidavit of Purchase Price and Odometer Disclosure Statement are mandated, you must also be sure to complete the back of the vehicle’s title with the name of both the buyer and the seller. Each must sign and date the back of the title as well.
